The National Institute of Oncology. Maria Skłodowska-Curie – National Research Institute The branch in Krakow accepts patients with diagnosed cancer or its suspicion, conducting preliminary and in-depth diagnostics and comprehensive treatment: surgical, irradiation (radiotherapy) and systemic treatment, including personalized, based, among others, on molecular diagnostics. The Krakow Branch of the Institute also conducts scientific and research, preventive and didactic activities in the field of diagnosis and treatment of malignant neoplasmology, and also deals with oncological epidemiology. A highly qualified team of specialists and scientists of the Institute carries out a mission set many years ago: “We have done to heal the best”. The types of cancers that specialists of the Krakow Branch of the Institute include diagnosis and treatment are cancers: breast, colon, prostate, ovarian, cervix and endowment, vagina, voragen, kidneys, adrenal glands, urethra, pancreatics, liver (primary and metastatic changes), testicles and penis, lungs, stomach,(meat): the genital organ and soft tissues, brain tumors and malignant growth of lymphatic tissue and marrow: non-Hedgkin lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia and acute lymphoma limfoblastic, myeloid.
