State Non-Profit Enterprise “National Cancer Institute”
(hereinafter – the Enterprise) is a leading clinical state non-profit enterprise of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on oncology, radiation diagnostics, radiation therapy and nuclear medicine, and also performs separate functions for research and scientific-organizational activities.
The functioning of the Enterprise is designed to help reduce the burden of cancer on society by performing a leadership role in the development of the oncology service, identifying the main measures for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment, reduce the morbidity, disability and mortality of the population from cancer.
MISSIA: preservation and improvement of public health by improving the quality and accessibility of high-tech oncological care, effective use of available resources (fraud, material, financial, etc.), strengthening the reputation of the Enterprise as a leading and reliable national health care institution, which is guaranteed to provide proper medical care in accordance with modern standards and principles of evidence-based medicine for the use of the most modern methods of treatment.
The company seeks to overcome the impact of cancer on the population through scientific research and innovation, creating conditions for increasing the life expectancy of each citizen through the introduction of modern achievements in scientific activities, the introduction of the principles of evidence-based medicine, conducting clinical work, training of specialists in the field of oncology, methodological support for the development of oncological service and the development of oncological care in Ukraine.
